However, it is also our understanding that Wal-Mart, and/or a separate insurance company, might provide compensation for medical care and/or some lost wages in the event a Texas Wal-Mart employee is injured in a work accident. It has distribution centers in cities and towns including Plainview, Baytown, Sanger, Sealy, Palestine, Cleburne, DeSoto, Terrell, Fort Worth, New Braunfels, Temple, Dayton, and New Caney. Wal-Mart has numerous locations throughout the State of Texas. Therefore, if there is an accident at Wal-Mart, and the person injured is an employee acting in the normal course of his or her duties for Wal-Mart, then there is no workers compensation coverage available.
